Classic 1st generation 1965 Ford Mustang project car For Sale.

I’m selling my 65 because I’m low on funds and don’t have the time to finish it myself. The car is in good shape, all the rust has been fixed in the floor trunk and firewall. There is a small spot in the driver’s door and rocker i haven’t got to get. The car runs and drives well, it has the original I6 200 and c4 (engine has been rebuilt and trans has been flushed and has new filter and pan gasket).

The interior is originally a pony interior. The interior restoration is about half done. The dash has been repainted and has a new dash pad, new woodgrain glove box door and instrument bezel, instrument lenses and lights and light filter have all been replaced. It has a aftermarket radio (the ones designed to fit in original location and “look” real) I also have the original am radio that still works. The heater system has been 100% replaced. New heater box, motor, core, gaskets, defroster plenum and hoses/vents and new control cables and control bezel and knobs.

The carpet is new. The drivers seat has had the foam replaced and has brand new upholstery and a headrest kit installed. I have new upholstery for the other seats and new seat foam and a headrest kit for the passenger seat. Fuel tank and sending unit are both brand new. Many other new parts on the car (to many to remember or list) Other new parts for the car that arnt installed are as follows. New front and rear valance and backup lights and exhaust trim ring for the rear valance. Door sill trim plates (mounting hardware) New upper and lower door hinges for both sides and new mounting hardware. Pony door panels, chrome trim, door handle cups, and new clips to mount them. New rollers for all the windows. New headliner, windshield and rear window gaskets as well as all other gaskets and weatherstripping/seals for the car. New grill, grill trim and clips, emblems for the hood and fenders. New door mirrors.

There is more stuff I have but I can’t remember what all to list it. The only parts i agent bought brand new for the car are the steering wheel, window cranks and door handles. I’ve spent over $12k in parts and am trying to get some of what I’ve spent back. I’d like to get around $9k for the car and all the parts I have for it. Price is negotiable.
