1st gen classic 1965 Ford Mustang restoration car For Sale.

It’s an early 65 and I bought it from a FORD mechanic who started restoring it. I’ve had to stop working on it for personal reasons. The body was painted professionally and there’s no bondo in it. Many NOS, new aftermarket and restored parts. The exterior is essentially finished. New hood, grill, fenders, doors, bumpers, quarters, floor. The interior is not done but I have all new parts for it.

I started doing the brakes when work halted. The engine is a 302 bored 30 over (per the prior owner). and is in pieces. Many new engine parts. A 4-speed and HURST shifter came from a 5-speed swapout. V8 suspension and front GT sway bar installed. After market rear sway bar installed with reinforced welded plates. The previous owner replaced the 65 dash with a 66 dash. I have a 65/66 GT instrument cluster. The instruments check out OK. Voltmeter to replace the usual useless ammeter. Includes complete interior, dual bowl CSRP disc brake kit, American Autowire kit (w/crimpers), 5-15 inch steel wheels, 5-14 inch American Racing wheels. Huge list … no junk. Plenty of extra parts included.

Here’s what is missing: Headers and exhaust, carb, distributer, water pump, fuel pump radiator & hoses, fan & pulley, alternator.
