1st gen classic 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback For Sale.

FOR SALE: 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback code A. The A codeoptioned cars received a higher output 289 with a 4 barrel carburetor that came from factory, also from factory as a “GT” with a special ordered luxury(pony) interior, bucket seats front and back option in Ivy Gold/Luxury White color which complements the Ivy Metallic Green exterior.

The GT option package came with a 225 hp, 4 barrel carb. motor, dual exhaust, fog lamps, grille bar, disc brakes, special handling package, stripes, GT plaques and GT fuel filler cap.

The car has 14” Mustang 5 spoke chrome rally rims, interior center console, cabin heater/defroster, factory air conditioner column rally pac instrument cluster( tach and clock) option, 3 spoke wood trimmed steering wheel, Mustang AM/FM cassette radio and a C4 3 speed automatic transmission delivering power to a 3:00:1 standard differential.

All options are reflected in the original VIN and door tag on the vehicle.

The car was ordered in the San Jose, California DSO and built in Dearborn,Michigan plant on July 29, 1966. The 5 digit odometer shows an original 79,351 miles on vehicle
