4th generation 2001 Ford Mustang GT low miles For Sale.

Looking to sell one of my favorite cars. 27,000 miles 01 Mustang GT. Car is mint, full road race suspension. Xenon ground effects with rear spoiler delete. Car has a awesome stance. Coilovers in the front, strange 10 way adjustable in the rear. Front and rear sway bar, panhard bar in the rear. Front has aftermarket Griggs racing k member. Frame is tied. Brand new Mickey Thompson wheels with Nitto 555 245/45/17 in the front, and 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET streets in the rear. Thing corners like a animal, APC brakes front and rear with extra set of pads that are track specific. Custom aluminum radiator, intercooler, Steeda muffler and X pipe. Inside the car has a custom Autometer Lunar gauge set, everything works as it should. Corbeau seats, a bolt in cage, and custom built rear seat delete. Upgraded stereo with a JL audio sub in the back. Battery is mounted in the trunk. Tranny is a 4R70 that was just built with a precision stall. Rear end was just rebuilt with a new locker and 31 spline axles. The car fax does list a fender bender but you can’t tell it was ever hit. It was a Bullitt car but nothing is original on the car.

So now for the bad. Over the winter I decided to put some more power in the car so I picked up a set of “C” heads from a friend that races and a ported supercharger. Short block has 1000 miles on it and Has Mahle pistons and total seal rings. So I bring the car to a guy I know and asked him to pull the engine so I can take it to my engine guy. I had the new heads installed, GT super car cams, and the ported supercharger. Bring the motor back to the guy that pulled the motor and had it installed. The car has a remote oil filter and when they pulled the lines off they didn’t mark them. Re-installed them backwards and fired the motor. As far as we can tell it jumped time. I didn’t tear the motor apart and I am just very frustrated with the whole thing. Usually do all my own work but I’m just swamped at work. I’m done with the car. I put the roller on craigslist but I can’t deal with the people that just don’t have a clue in life. The car is worth every penny of what I’m asking and I just want it gone.

I want a Mustang person to get this car and enjoy it. If I had more time I would part the car out and put a 2 valve in it and drive it.

I will work with the buyer anyway I can, the car sits low to the ground and I will probably have to take the front bumper off the car to load it on a trailer.
