5th gen 2007 Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition For Sale.

This 2007 Ford Mustang is #002 of 500 Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition cars produced for the model year, and it remained in the possession of Saleen, Inc. until 2009, when it was delivered to Lewis Ford of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and purchased by the current owner later that year. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 equipped with a Saleen SuperShaker supercharger kit and linked to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8” rear differential with a 3.73:1 gear ratio. Finished in Grabber Orange over a Dark Charcoal and Orange leather upholstery, the car features revised body styling and graphics as well as a close-ratio shifter, a lightweight aluminum flywheel, a SuperShaker hood scoop, 19″ Saleen wheels, and Saleen engine, suspension, and braking components. This Saleen Mustang has 30k miles and is now offered on behalf of the owner with spare parts, partial service records, Saleen correspondence, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nebraska title in the owner’s name.

The body is finished in Grabber Orange and features “hockey stick” side decals with 302 logos, a louvered rear window, quarter window covers, a front lip spoiler, side scoops, a rear spoiler, unique valances and side skirts, and an “02” decal on the front bumper cover. Silver-finished 19″ Saleen wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 275/35 up front and 275/40 out back. The suspension features Saleen N2 dampers, Saleen-upgraded anti-roll bars, and Watt’s linkage for the live rear axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with 14″ slotted front rotors and Saleen four-piston front calipers.

The cabin features seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal and Orange leather accompanied by aluminum-look dash trim and a black center console and door panels. The signatures of Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones are present on the center dash panel, and equipment includes a Shaker 500 stereo system, air conditioning, and a limited-edition shift knob, floor mats, and door sills.

A plaque above the glove compartment identifies this vehicle as #002 of 500.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears a Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition horn button and frames Parnelli Jones Edition instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for engine temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. An air-temperature and boost-pressure gauge are mounted atop the center of the dash, and the digital odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added by the current owner.

The 5.0-liter V8 is equipped with a Saleen Speedlab PJ SuperShaker kit, which includes a Series VI Twin Screw Supercharger, dual GT500-spec fuel pumps, as well as an airbox and hood scoop kit. Peak output quoted by Saleen with the SuperShaker kit was 625 horsepower. An oil change was completed in March 2021.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and an 8.8” differential with a 3.73:1 axle ratio.

Correspondence from Saleen lists the car’s VIN and serial number, along with production information and statistics. Additional included literature and records are provided in the gallery below. Saleen owned the car for a short time and added about 20,000 miles to it. Taking it to shows and things like that.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Michigan, Arkansas, and Nebraska.
