2016 Competition Orange Mustang GT
Price: $REMOVED
Mileage: 36,800
Up for sale is my supercharged competition orange 2016 Mustang GT. I have owned the car since new and have really enjoyed the car, but do not drive the car enough anymore to justify keeping it. The car has been thoroughly but tastefully modified, and is still comfortable enough to daily drive. I specifically ordered this car the way it sits, with the only options being the performance package, Recaro seats, and reverse sensors. Being a 2016 it already has a factory backup camera. The car currently sits at 36,800 miles, and will not go up much considering I have other cars to drive. Below is a list of mods and basic maintenance that has been done on the car.
Engine
-Roush Phase 1 supercharger. New bolts on the supercharger pulley and a Gates belt. I have removed the lid on the airbox and hood insulation within the last 2 months (you can hear the blower whine now under boost) but still have both if you’d prefer to reinstall.
-Custom exhaust consisting of a stainless x pipe into an MBRP race axle back with custom transition pipes. The choke point in the passenger side downpipe has been cut out and replaced with matching 2.25 piping and a 2.25 flex pipe.
-Larger radiator as part of the performance pack.
Drivetrain
-Ram twin disc clutch with lightened flywheel and throwout bearing just installed at 36,100 miles. This clutch is 1000hp capable, which gives you plenty of room to grow if you decide to up the power in the future.
-SR Performance clutch pedal spring. These cars had a fairly weak pedal feel from the factory, and this stiffer spring gives you a more positive feel. I have the stock unit if you want it.
-Driveshaft Shop 800hp axles
-Whiteline transmission mount bushing
-Prothane poly shifter bushing
-Torsen differential with 3.73 rear gears
Suspension/Brakes
-6 piston Brembo front brakes with 15 inch calipers. Front and rear calipers color matched to car with G2 paint.
-Raceland 15 way dampening adjustable coilovers with front camber plates.
-Steeda billet upper adjustable control arms
-SR performance rear adjustable toe arms
-Whiteline rear subframe bushings
-Larger rear sway bar as part of the Performance Pack
Wheels/tires
-20×8.5 front and 20×10 rear ZR Downforce wheels
-295/35/20 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires and 255/35/20 Pilot Sport fronts. Front tires have about 5,000 miles on them.
Interior
-Factory cloth Recaro seats with white stitching.
-Wired for subwoofer with a line out converter already installed in the trunk.
Maintenance
-Fresh oil change with T6 Rotella and OEM Motorcraft filter. This oil has a higher ZDDP (an anti wear additive that has been phased out of automotive oils in recent years because of auto makers having to warranty their catalytic converters for 10/100,000) content than regular car oils. Oil has been changed religiously at 3,000 miles since the car was new.
-Rear wheel bearings replaced at 30,000 miles
-Hydraulic throw out bearing line replaced with an OEM Motorcraft line when clutch was replaced.
-Brand new battery as of last week.
-Pulled spark plugs last week to check condition and gap.
There are a couple of small imperfections on the car that are worth noting, but nothing abnormal for a 5 year old daily driver.
-A few miscellaneous dings and scratches on the car, but nothing abnormal for the age and mileage.
-The wheels have a few spots of curb rash, but are not very noticeable. The fronts also have some brake dust baked on from the previous owner (I bought them used), but it blends in until up close.
-The seat belt holders on the side of the front seats have some sun discoloration. I may remedy this before the sale.
-I cut out the factory honeycomb from the upper and lower grill. If you get up close and really look you can see some rough edges from me cutting it out with a dremel. Never bothered me enough to fix, but it is worth mentioning. A little bit of time with some sand paper would clean this up nicely. I also have a spare upper grill if you prefer the honeycomb.
I’m sure I’m forgetting some things, and I’ll update this listing as I remember them. All in all this is a great low mileage car that has been tastefully modified and adult owned it’s whole life. It is still quite comfortable as a daily driver in my opinion, but is fast as hell and handles like it’s on rails when you want it to. Due to the performance of this car, I will only offer test drives for responsible adults with proof of funds. This car can get out of hand quite easily if you don’t know what you’re doing, and as a result of that I will not sell it to somebody who will hurt themselves or others from either a lack of experience or maturity. I am slightly negotiable on the price, but keep in mind that this car would cost close to $50,000 to build if you were to do this yourself. I have tried to be as honest and transparent in this listing, but if you have any additional questions please feel free to ask.
